Nebraska Recycling Campaign
Posters
Starting off this project, I knew I wanted my posters to be about Recycling in Nebraska. Our class was able to tour First Star Fiber and seeing the recycling take place was really powerful. I wanted to shatter the myth that our trash isn't being recycled by connecting my graphics to Nebraska.

I chose to take all of my own photography for this project! Here are some of the photos I took around Lincoln and at First Star Fiber
My first poster was an overview of Recycling and how it works! This poster showed the Lincoln Capital which is a very recognizable building in Lincoln. I was hoping to show how real Recycling is in Nebraska. Here is the progress of my posters. I got a lot of really great feedback from my classmates and professor.

I briefly considered not using the photo in the background but I decided it was worth it even though the poster was pretty busy.
The second poster was showing how recycling closes the loop between products by making them into new products! This poster went through a few phases and I ended up switching images. I am happy with how I was able to use illustration and photography in this project!
I also created a few social media pieces for this campaign to go along with the posters
